Koshinkai Bujutsu Kai (KBK) translates, "The Brotherhood or Society to study and improve traditional and modern fighting methodologies".

The goal of the KBK is to serve one another in a brotherhood of martial arts, approach martial arts from a research and educational point of view and to respect all martial arts whether traditional or eclectic. It is our endeavor to help martial artists grow in all areas from elementary to higher education in study, application and teaching of martial arts. The KBK also provides a legitimate means for students and instructors to further their studies, certification and success at large in all facets of their martial arts experience.

In addition we seek to perpetuate ethics, morals, cultural understanding as prescribed in the universal philosophy of martial arts and combat ignorance, prejudice, hate through acceptance of martial arts styles and practitioners in a universal and unbiased manner. Finally, as instructors, directors, members and representatives of the KBK, it is our responsibility to strive for excellence in ourselves and in the study of martial arts. Furthermore, we strive for the continued growth, expansion and success of the KBK through active participation, support of each other and functions sanctioned by the KBK.
